Senior Director, Investments at SITQ responsible for the Investments group relating to the hotel, multifamily and retirement housing sectors.  He joined the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in 2002 and was part of its real estate division before joining SITQ in 2009. Prior to 2002, he was at Samson Bélair/ Deloitte & Touche for 6 years in various roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from McGill University. He is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec and is a CFA charter holder.

Claude Normandeau

Mr. Normandeau’s career spans close to 40 years in the real estate industry, in several management functions, including General Manager of Technoparc Saint-Laurent, Metropolitan Montréal, prior to that he was Director of Real Estate Investment for Manufacturers Life Co.; head of the Real Estate Division of Canadian Pacific Pension Investments; and President of F-I-C Fund Inc., the Real Estate subsidiary of the Laurentian Group Corporation where he was involved in a number of real estate developments throughout Canada and the United States. These achievements include the development of the Broadway and Granville corridor in Vancouver, a number of office buildings in Toronto, such as 95 Wellington, and in Montréal, the 1100 René-Lévesque West and the renovation of the Windsor hotel project.

Mark Shuparski

Currently Principal of Pacific Capital Real Estate Group, Mr. Shuparski is the former president of Bentall Capital, where he was one of the founding partners of the firm. Prior to forming Bentall Capital in 2001, Mr. Shuparski was president and CEO of Bentall Corporation, a position he held for 6 years. He holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a bachelor of environmental studies from the University of Waterloo.
